Katie of the Stars

Beginning this final day of the 1 million update, is a piece of a character I've had in mind for a long time.... She's my first true glutton character (Ryps doesn't count, since she controlls her gluttony through smoking). Anyway, her name's Katie Swellow.

There's actually a reason for why her curves are so huge. Basically, she ate alot as a child and, instead of her getting all fat when she grew up, it all went to her curves with just a liiiiiitle bit of pudge in the middle ^^ (I accidently overdid it in this pic though) ....strangely, she kept the clothes she had from her youth... not sure why she doesn't just have them let out a bit '_';


Sad thing about this pic is, it took 3-4 tries to get the pose right (you spend 2 months only CG-ing, you're bound to get rusty) of course... in the process of doing all that CG-ing, I'd learned aout different ways to highlight as opposed to my usual use of ovals. it seems doing thin streaks of highlights here and there, works pretty damn nicely as well ^^

The background was pretty challenging at first, since I had only pictured that star in the upper right corner. After some debating, I decided to add a few white stars in, realized it looked pretty damn good, then filled up the other blank spots with more stars ^^

The title refers more to the shirt, than her overall star theme.... but, in general, when I draw her, I think of stars.

So, she's pretty much gonna be my hit girl for awhile. I'm thinking for the 100k milestones.
