I been wanting to draw somethin' like this for awhile and it took forever to get the pose juuuust right.... I had only a couple reference pics of this move and even after I drew it, the legs were too stiff. Fortunately, helped me determined what was wrong and it was all just a matter of curving the legs.. after that, it was all a matter of showing motion in the legs.. I mainly used Open Canvas to trace over the original sketch n' paint in the streaks n' such... I then switched to Paint shop Pro 7's motion blur filter to really show Sanji's leg Movement.
and yes, The name of Sanji's Spinny Leg attack(and my personal favorite move of his) is called Party Table. There's also an alternate version called Party Table Kick Course.
and before someone decides to be "clever" about Sanji's Legs. Yeah... I know no human's legs twist like that, however, Sanji's legs DO twist like that and it's really trippy lookin' ^^
I did this pic mainly 'cause I wanted to do something new... I mean I can't ONLY do pics of expansion right? it'd be repetitive n' boring
so yeah... enjoy, and many thanks to and for the inspiration, as well as for all the help ^^
Hey, I think you did a GREAT job of capturing the dynamic motion of the grand chef's attack. If you take into account of speed and centrifugal force, I think the human leg could bend that way...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
