Ronnie Omake...
This is merely someting I decided to do at random.. a series of comics revolving around things that get on my nerves... I'm really gonna only draw these when I feel like it, so it's not a serious thing... this one may be an exception though...
Now, I consider the position of artist to be kinna sacred, y'know? you're blessed with the ability to draw, or photograph, or write, or sculpt! Whatever your talent is, you outta be happy you have it and happy for those arond you who have it as well..... Lately, I've been seeing a lot of disgrace to the honor of artists by other artists... and it really, it bugs me. This is what mainly inspired this comic. Now, while the comic specifically mentions expansion artists, it also refers to other fetish artists as well.
The Troll/Oni thing (whom I'll Call Troni McBigNose O_o; ) you see there represents the douchebag in people.... I plan to make him appear alot in comics like these playing the role of those who irritate me. In this role, he demonstrates my observations of several of the rude masses on DA...... I've managed to make a little group of those represented, actually.
Trolls: people who seem to flame for the sake of flaming, seem incapable of going without saying "faggot" in every sentance. Sometimes they're artists, sometimes they're just genuine assholes.
Hypocrites: Willing to bash other fandoms to no end, but are part of an odd fandom themselves (I.E. I've noticed that a chunk of the expansion art bashers seem to be into Yaoi)
Elitists: Artists I consider a huge disgrace to the art community. People whose art is exceptionally good, however they're not above saying the cruelest things about another's work. They seem to act like the only good art is normal (or their) art. They seem to have a burning hatred for expansion artists (or fetish artists in general) with high page views, as if the artists themselves have the magical abilitiy to control the page view flow. Often, their comments about expansion art seem to involve the words "gross" and "disgusting" as if comparing expansion art to vomit or shit.
They also seem to think that expansion art isn't art because the person is inflated. To me, that's the same as saying colored artwork isn't artwork because there's color in it. In addition, they think expansion art takes little or no effort. What they don't seem to realize is that it actually can be considerably hard to draw. Especially when coming up with a dynamic or generally decent pose and angle. Not every expansion artist just draws a circle with hands, feet and a head. I believe before acting like an ass and bashing someone else's artwork, they, themselves should attempt to draw said work, THEN say how "little effort" goes into it (although you do risk getting a huge chunk of expansion or other fetish lovers faving it just because of the expansion aspect... probably the only part of the expansion community I don't like, honestly)
There's also a group of people who appear to believe that expansion work is degrating to women (odd how you never hear that about male expansion art), and while that may be true in their eyes, it's certainly not the artist's intent to be degrading, it's just them drawing what they want and enjoy. (unless they're only doing it for hits '_'; )
oh uh.... by he way...I know this ain't my best work, but I wasn't really thinking about that... Troni's design was kinda on the fly '_';
actually, that never realy occured to me, all I could think of at first was venting. But when y'think about it, don't spammers usually spam to get attention in the first place? They dun need my help in doing so
eh.. maybe it is, but I dun care. It wasn't what I was going for that's for sure

Heh.... why do I draw inflation? 'cause it's FUN! She was only a prostitute, but she had the nicest face I ever came across --George Carlin 1937-2008 member of peach-club
Troni's design is funny. It has the typical tiger-print clothing of Oni's, the horn on his head, and a funny big nose to top it off. I think I'm gonna enjoy reading the future comics.
What upsets me the most is that this would community is supposed to be about posting art of any kind, yet more and more people want it to be like some sort of exclusive club.
Anyway, great job Ryu, throw thier sh*t right back at them.

I have this amazing trick you see, but I can only do it once, and when you aren't looking.
Love the fist. Is it supposed to be yours or is it not really a character whatsoever and just a big fist that really needs to exist?
Although I've not gotten to experience a flamer firsthand (mainly because I can't draw expansionism at all because of it's extreme difficulty) I have seen them on a few pages, and they do make me angry.

I promise you I'm working on stuff. Just what stuff, I haven't gotten to do. Work tends to pile up and smother me. I'm also trying to beat Pokemon Emerald, so yeah..
This comic couldn't depict the truth any better. It's disgusting how people can't leave well enough alone and move on with their lives without stopping to be complete a**holes in the process.
heh gotta be the buggy-nose ^^ 'course theres a bit of it in there

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
